Jirka Pfahl is a German artist who was born in Wurzen in 1976 and currently lives in Leipzig. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich and at the Academy of Visual Arts in Leipzig. Pfahl has exhibited his work in numerous solo and group exhibitions, including "Appropreciation", "Binary Contrast", "Glanz & Gloria" and "twenty.thousand.volts". His works are in various collections, such as the Museum der bildenden Künste in Leipzig and the Kunstfonds des Freistaates Sachsen der Staatlichen Kunstsammlungen Dresden. Pfahl's art is characterised by precise lines and mathematical beauty that convey a sense of calm and meaning. The interplay of light and perspective creates constantly changing patterns and shadows. Pfahl's works are inspired by the art of fugue and use a new form of monotype printing. Overall, his art shows his versatility and talent to captivate and inspire viewers regardless of their preferred art form.
