During the summer months, the Lachenmann Art gallery showed the exciting group exhibition ›Grand Salon‹ in its premises in Konstanz's Paradies. Discover the selection of works curated selectively for the exhibition by gallery owner Juliane Lachenmann.

This summer exhibition brought together works by gallery artists with new artistic positions never before shown in Konstanz and works by selected gallery guests in a refreshing combination. In the tradition of the Parisian salons, the Lachenmann Gallery in Konstanz proposed a group exhibition for the summer of 2024 that captures the atmosphere of the great institution of the Salon, but shows it in a contemporary form. The most striking aspect of the Salon was the presentation of the paintings on display from floor to ceiling and on every available inch of the room. Here one was greeted by a visually overwhelming ensemble of selected works of art and was given the opportunity to view and enjoy art like a modern Diderot or Baudelaire.
